Dany arrived in Australia at the start of the year on a Government funded scholarship. She achieved an excellent pass in the first part of the course and was only one of two Cambodian students chosen to progress on to the next stage. I’m just so proud of her and what she has achieved, considering the huge obstacles she has had to overcome.

It’s been a while since I updated Dany’s page so I thought I would give you a brief account of what she has accomplished since then.
I’m happy to reveal that Dany returned home and announced her engagement to a wonderful young man. Since then she has married and now has lovely baby girl. Can’t wait to see the photos.
Fast forward to 2016
Dany returned to Australia with her talented, young husband and two gorgeous little girls. Like most young Mums she shelved her own dreams to take care of her family. Hubby, Mara was granted a two year scholarship to study for his Masters in Education at Latrobe Uni. Fortunately Dany & the kids were permitted to join him.
My Cambodian experience
